My Baby is 4 Months Old Today!

Yesterday we went to to doctor for his 4 month check up and shots. He did so good. He cried when he got his shots and as soon as they were done I scooped him up and sang his favorite song "itsy bitsy spider" and he calmed downed. When we left he was back to smiling and flirting with the nurses. He never cried, except to get his shots, the whole time. It was long, we waited 45 min for the doctor to see us. When we got home, that was a different story. He was so tired, he got his shots and he is teething. Bad combination!

So I have hit the three month mark for working out. You would think by this point I would be addicted. I'm not! I know this is the time when most people give up. I can't. When I first had Blake my thought was, "it's ok, they make monokini's." Then it was, " NO! I'm not using that as an excuse, I WILL fit into that bikini again". Now it is more like this, "Screw working out, I'm just gonna get knocked up again next year anyways."

Yes, these are actual conversations I have with myself.

Here are more pictures of Blake because he is so beautiful!

Valentines Day!

And it is a blizzard outside... okay sort of. It's too bad I am spending this holiday alone at work. I much rather be home with my two boys, one who calls me wifey and the other who calls me...well mommy soon. Sounds more like baahaa waa naa gleehee. Got me some diamond earings this year. Mike exchanged the ones he got me for my wedding to bigger ones. Now, if you remember the story about my wedding ring then you are probably thinking "oh know, was she upset?" Mike thought twice too before he went ahead and exchanged them. In case you forgot, about two months or so after our wedding we had a grand ole idea to get our wedding rings cleaned. While we were waiting, we shopped around. Naturally I started trying on rings with bigger diamonds and when I remembered their exchanged policy I thought, "hmmm I wonder if Mike would let me get a bigger ring?" And he did! Without even thinking I gave back my wedding ring in exchange for this bigger ring. Well, bigger isn't always better and after three days (only one of which I had the ring after sizing and all) I came down stairs to where Mike was sitting, around midnight because I couldn't sleep, bawling my eyes out wanting my orignal back. A few phone calls later and tracking the thing down, my orignal was back on my finger, barely. Apparenting it was scheduled to get shipped out that afternoon for melt down.

So...with that being said, Mike was a little nervous to exchange and I will admit I thought twice about the earnings, but then decided that earings were different than a ring I said my vows with. Now I am sporting them with pride. Mike suggested we upgrade every year like the lady who works there does. Who can argue with that?!

Hand Foot and Mouth Disease

Is this what they mean? Because my baby can not keep either one out of his mouth!

The mommy hair has begun. Yesterday I cut off 5 inches, probably by the time I have my second it will be Halle Berry style, if only I looked as good as she does with short hair?
Here is B finally able to fit in his crocheted jersery that grandma made! It seemed so big when we first got it (when he was born) and now it was almost too small. Good thing I was able to capture him wearing it!
Seriously how cute is he? I think I will put him into modeling? Or maybe that show Toddlers and Tiaras (if Mike will let me).

He is so close to rolling over it is not even funny. I just hope I don't miss it. I am so afraid I will miss his milestones being at work. Got his three month pictures in I will have to figure out how to post them here. They are so cute. Like I said pure modeling perfection.

Photo Shoot

Since my baby is the most beautiful in the world (and smartest and talented and...ok ok), we had a fun photo shoot right before his bath. Probably put these head shots in his portfolio ;-)

My favorite more serious look. He wanted his own signature look in this one (kinda like his Dad has his).

WWF Wrestling

In this corner wearing blue and weighing in at a whopping 12 lbs, he is known as the drooling machine, Blake "the worlds bravest bear wrestler" Johnson. And in this corner wearing red, weighing in at 1 lb, soft and friendly as can be, Winnie "the pooh" bear. Keep it clean guys.
DING! DING! DING!
