We're Moving on Up... to the East Side
In 3 weeks we sold our house and bought a new one! Who knew it would go this fast? That is what is making this whole process scary. Moving in general is stressful, let alone in 3 weeks time. I hope we made the right decision. The only really concern I have is that this community is new and there are no grassy parks or swimming pools.

Starbucks No More
I forgot to mention this as well... I am mad a Starbucks. Your coffee drinks are too darn good that the addiction is pretty bad. I spend at least $15. 00 a week. I know that doesn't sound bad , but if you do the math that is $60.00/month or $720.00/year. I think I'd rather do something else with that money. My solution... my own machine. Now, I will say I am not quite the barista yet, I still think it will take time to perfect my skills, but this is a start. When Mike saw this and the accessories for it, he just stared. I had to remind him that this is actually an investment. I will have paid for itself in 1 month (if I still have a job after being late trying to work it in the morning).
6 Months Old!
I can't believe my precious baby is 6 months old. It got me thinking, with all his changes and milestones, what are mine? In 6 months my baby has learned that if he cries he gets attended to, he can grab his feet, hands, toys, and shake a rattle, jump in his jumperoo, has a few favorite songs, can roll over, hold his bottle, laugh, sit-up, and much more. So now I wonder, in 6 months what have I learned/changed? Here is a short list of things that have changed me;

Happy Easter!
B man and his Easter basket. This year he got a Bible and a swimsuit from the Easter Bunny.
This year I had to work Easter morning and Mike volunteered at the church. We went to Easter service Friday night because of this. After Mike got home we went down to Parker for an early Easter dinner with my family and the Wright family.
I am not the only one who thoroughly loves giving and receiving kisses from B! Mike thinks it's gross. No way, man!
So far we have had 5 showings on the house. Which I think is pretty good. We really do need to get our act together if we are going to buy another house because I have a feeling ours is going to go faster than I anticipated. Can't wait for B to get his 6 month pictures done. I have all these ideas and visions in my head of the perfect shot. I am totally a "stage mom". I don't mean to be. It's just the competitiveness in me. For instance, I had my friends over for dinner who watch B for me when I need them to. I also know they watch my other friend's kid who is a month older than B. Well, I asked if he was easier to watch then B, and when they said "yes" (at least this time), I got a little sad that my kid wasn't the "best". He definitely requires a lot of attention and gets bored with things faster than most other kids (at least in my opinion, some might say that is how normal kids are) and this makes him a little harder to watch. I know it's tiring.
I just have to realize that if my boy ends up being that kid that requires, lets say, drugs (no, I'm kidding) creativity, imagination and stamina to keep up with him, then I will love him and do that for him no matter what. This is Gods challenge to me...patience. Momma always said I had none. Good thing he is first born because now I will know no different.
Peas are Worse
Had to take some black mail photos of B for his senoior year exit assembly slide show. Or for his first date...at age 25, just kidding... not really.
Super model work... cover boy... work it boy! Seriously cutest thing ever! Just look at those baby blues. And that smile. What a little heartbreaker. EEEWWWW peas! YUCK!
"Oh got not again...mom...make it stop..."
"I'm just gonna hold it in my mouth. You can't make me swallow!"
